Because our design office in Goregaon East, Mumbai handles only administrative tasks, showroom samples, and billing accounts, we do not store inventory or load cargo in Mumbai. Consolidating all dispatches at our Agra logistics depot allows us to inspect each master carton before loading, issue precise loading sheets, and manage high-volume freight logistics efficiently. Direct shipping from the factory gate also guarantees that you receive the lowest possible pricing, bypassing local warehousing markup costs.

3. "To-Pay" Freight Billing Structure
At Left Right Footwear, all commercial wholesale shipping is conducted on a "To-Pay" (Freight Collect) basis. This means the transport cost is not included in your product invoice or paid to us in advance. Instead, the transporter calculates the freight charge based on cargo weight, carton volume, and destination distance, and you pay the freight fee directly to the transport company upon cargo arrival at your designated city booking office or retail showroom. The Buyer is also responsible for paying local entry taxes, Octroi, state-entry clearances, and loading/unloading labor charges at their local delivery points.
4. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines vary depending on the destination distance from our Agra factory and the type of transport service selected:
- North India (Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan): 2 to 4 business days.
- West India (Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Goa): 4 to 6 business days.
- South India (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi): 5 to 7 business days.

5. E-Way Bills & Transit Documentation
In accordance with national tax regulations, every bulk cargo dispatch matching legal value limits is accompanied by a GST-compliant tax invoice, packing list, and E-Way Bill generated from our Agra billing desk. Immediately after the consignment is loaded onto the transporter's truck, we send a copy of the Lorry Receipt (LR) or Goods Receipt (GR) to your registered WhatsApp number and email. This receipt lists the booking number, carton count, weight, and the transporter's contact number, allowing you to track the movement of your cargo and coordinate local delivery.
6. Risk of Loss & Cargo Insurance
All footwear consignments leave our Agra factory in secure, high-ply master cartons wrapped in waterproof plastic film. However, because transport logistics are handled by external companies, the risk of loss, damage, or theft shifts to the Buyer once the cargo is signed over to the transporter at our Agra factory gates. We strongly advise all retail partners and distributors to purchase transit cargo insurance for their orders. Most logistics companies offer basic insurance, or we can assist you in securing comprehensive coverage through national insurance providers before dispatch.
7. Cargo Inspection and Defect Claims
Upon receiving the cargo at your warehouse or retail shop, we require you to inspect the master cartons before signing the delivery note:
- Count the number of master cartons to ensure it matches the LR slip exactly.
- Check the physical condition of the cartons. If any carton is torn, wet, or shows signs of tampering, write a note of the damage on the transporter's copy of the delivery slip before signing it.
- Record a continuous, unedited video of the carton unboxing process. This video is mandatory to claim compensation for structural transit damage, short-shipments, or manufacturing defects.
- Report any claims for damage or defective items to our WhatsApp helpline or sales email within 48 hours of cargo unloading, accompanied by the unboxing video and photo proof. Approved claims will be compensated via credit notes.
